On September 26, 2023, Lakota Law Co-Director and Lead Counsel Chase Iron Eyes addressed the United Nations Human Rights Committee, in coordination with its Civil Society Task Force. He spoke on behalf of Native treaty rights and sovereignty, and quoted the wisdom of Chief Frank Fools Crow in advocating for land back and a renewed international commitment to justice for Indigenous Peoples.
