Montana Should Halt KXL Construction During the Pandemic

The man camps that house workers for the Keystone XL pipeline present a clear and present danger to public safety, as they could become viral hubs during the COVID-19 pandemic. This new threat compounds existing tribal concerns about Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. Montana governor Steve Bullock should halt KXL construction and keep people out of harm’s way.
